Dr. Bat Brantley
Marlon Bat Brantley, DVM- Dr. Bat was born and raised in Farmerville Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana Tech with a BS in Animal Science in 1978. He received his DVM from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. He practiced in Dubach Louisiana before purchasing Union Veterinary Clinic in 1985. Dr. Bat has interests in large animal medicine especially the equine patient. He is a member of American Association of Equine Practitioners and attends continuing education meetings several times a year. He is a trained equine dentist with the needed facility at Union Veterinary Clinic to safely treat your equine. He also travels 1000s of miles each year on farm calls to treat cattle and horses.
Dr. Mary Beth Brantley
Mary Beth Brantley, DVM – was born in New Orleans and reared in Union Parish. She graduated Valedictorian of her high school class in 1975, attended Louisiana Tech to receive her BS in animal science and received her DVM from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. She came to Union Veterinary Clinic in 1985 and lives with 3 horses and 12 dogs on 30 acres in Union Parish. Dr. Mary Beth works entirely on dogs and cats. She enjoys the day to day medicine and surgery cases as well as the unusual. With her nearly 30 years of experience she has seen a lot. She treats her patients with love and compassion and certainly enjoys the interaction with her clients.
Linda Robertson
My name is Linda Robertson my husband Todd and children Jennifer and Randall moved to Farmerville in july of 1988. I came to work for Union Veterinary Clinic in may of 1989. I have really enjoyed my job as receptionist and as an assistant when needed. I have met many people in and around Union Parish and other areas. I have 3 boston terriers, 1 rat terrier, 1 australian shepherd and 2 pit bulls who all get along perfectly.

Melissa Abernathy – I have lived in Union Parish all my life. I have been working here at Union Veterinary Clinic for 18 years. I love working with all the animals and love baking in my spare time. I have a husband of 20 years Jeremy and 2 wonderful children Jeremiah and Trinity.
Kelly Nolan– This year marks 10 years being here at Union Veterinary Clinic. I have several cats a few dogs and 3 horses.
Receptionists
Marie Garner – I moved here from Wyoming 51/2 years ago to get away from the wind and cold. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs. I enjoy working here seeing and talking with all the animals.
Kennel Staff
Olivia Hodges – I have lived here in Union Parish all my life. I started working here at Union Veterinary Clinic right after I graduated High School.
Meggon Kramer – I was born and raised in Ruston, Louisiana and have lived in the surrounding areas my entire life. Animals are my passion. I am the proud owner of 5 dogs, 5 cats, a yard full of chickens and ducks. I live by the motto ‘pets can turn any day into a good day”.
Alyssa Halley – I’ve lived in Union parish all my life. I love riding horses and going to rodeos with my dog Willow.
